Subject: [BOARD] VOTE: Motion 2009/10-08
Presented by Ann Allen Geoghegan and seconded by Larry Flesher and dated 21
November 2009, the motion reads:
I move that we approve, by general consent, the following addition to the
Election Procedures:
"An option will be added to the ballot for any election, poll or referendum
to allow a voter to skip voting in one or more races/referendums that they
choose to, yet still allowing their votes in other races/referendums to be
counted. Votes that are skipped in any race/referendum will have no effect
on the results of that race/referendum when the final count is tabulated."
The EC chair is also requested to communicate this addition to Larry
Stephens, who provides the voting booth software for the USGenWeb elections,
so that the actual functionality can be implemented.
Are there any objections to this motion?
