Edward,
I just wanted to check in with you. I need to let you know I will try to
get around to updating my websites in the next month, I hope. We were
just getting family members all settled after Katrina, when Rita hit. My
in-laws were heavily hit by Rita, so we have been tied up the last several
weeks with that, in addition to trying to help out with others who are on
the Katrina side. Just wanted to let you know I'm still here...off and
on...but trying to check in.

Subject: [LAGENWEB] New Surname Registration page installed

Hi,
I just finished installing a Surname Registration database and hopefully
it
will work out ok.
It is just a simple database which should have a good search function
which
could have been used as a query/message forum, but I want to use it
strictly
for Surname registration, with an area for a short message.
When you get a chance, try it out. Just press on the Louisiana Surnames
button on the left side of the page.
Many of the pages are not actually transferred into the new program yet,
but
they will be as soon as I have the time. Meanwhile, all the pages from
the
old site are accessible from the new site page. I see a lot of bad links
in
some of the pages so I will be fixing them as I integrate the information
into the new format.
Please send your comments about the new site when you visit. And be sure
to
register as that gives you a better access level and will show you how you
can participate in keeping the page up to date and fresh.
More new features are still on the way.
Thanks,
Edward
