DONALD WAYNE JOHNSON
HOLDEN -- Donald Wayne Johnson, 68, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Our
Lady of The Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge.
Born in Ward Four of St. Helena Parish, he was retired from Georgia
Pacific Paper Mill in Port Hudson.
He was a member of Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Church where he was an
elder clerk of session. He was also a member of the Hungarian Settlement
Historical Society, the Edward Livingston Historical Society, the St.
Helena Historical Society, the Sons & Daughters of West Florida Society
and the USGen Web-Louisian and the St. Helena Archives.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Fay King Johnson of Holden; a son,
Russell Keith Johnson; one daughter, Gwenna Marie Johnson; three
grandchildren; and three brothers, Carl Ray, William Davis and Sidney
Earl Johnson.
His parents, Luther N. and Bertie Bell Davis Johnson, preceded him in death.
The Rev. Stephen Sanders will conduct a memorial Saturday at Hungarian
Presbyterian Church, Albany, at 3 p.m.
