While you're passing through Baton Rouge you should first vist the State
Archives Building on Essen Lane just off Interstate 10 to look for a copy of
the death certificate for Jim Franklin Sage. It will most likely show which
cemetery he was buried in and which funeral home handled his burial. The
funeral home may be able to help you locate the grave. You can call the
State Archives Research Section at (225) 922-1208 and they may look up the
death certificate for you or you can ask them for their e-mail address.
What is the name of the cemetery which you are looking for the grave?
