Wow, that is very interesting. Makes me even more excited.\

Jo,
I had mine done several months back through
Ancestry.com and was shocked
by the results; I have Native American on both sides of my family, I have a
documented and certified family tree to the Nansemond Indians yet when I
got the results back, it showed zero Native American. And another surprise
was I had Scandinavian DNA - no one in my family tree came from any of
those countries. It was so strange.
I am glad I did it, it didn't further my ancestor/family tree research a
bit, it hooks you up with cousins that are so distant but it was exciting
to get the results and see what or where yoy came from.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just wondering if anyone has had their DNA done and what was their
impression of the results?
I have reached an age in life that I have all of the household and/or
kitchen "stuff" that I can ever use. I have a stack of unread books, etc.
When my husband asked me what I wanted this year for Christmas, I picked my
DNA.
Probably no real surprises since I know that my lineage goes back to the
1400s in what is now Germany and England. But one never knows.
