Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

One more thing,,,
I would like to have a project wide roll call letting us know all is well
with you and your sites. Please just respond to this message letting us
know you are here. Additional comments will be accepted as usual.
Thanks,
Edward Hayden
NOTICE!
www.lagenweb.org <http://www.lagenweb.org/> is now the official home of
the LAGenWeb Project.
Over the next few weeks as you update your Parish
pages, please change the url for the LAGenWeb project to www.lagenweb.org
<http://www.lagenweb.org/>
lagenweb.net and lagenweb.com will also work, but they are not the
official domains for the project.
Note: The old address will still work and will continue to work. So dont
worry that people will not be able to find us.
While you are at it, you might check to see that the State Coordinators
email address is la(a)usgenweb.org <mailto:la@usgenweb.org> This would
insure that no matter who is the state coordinator, it will still go to the
designated person, and you will not have to ever check or change that again.
Thanks,
Edward Hayden
