OBITUARY
Jerry K. Carley Sr.
Jerry K. Carley Sr., 64, of Pineville died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002.
Arrangements will be announced by Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Services for Jerry Ken-neth Carley Sr. will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the
chapel of
Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Revs. Darryl Hoychick, Melvin
Tisdale, Greg
Texada and Dr. Joe Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Cleveland
Cemetery,
Lena.
Carley Sr., 64, of Pineville died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Rapides
Regional
Medical Center.
He was a member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church, Pineville and a
member of
Bunkie Masonic Lodge No. 326, F&AM. He was a master real-estate broker
and
received the Top Producer of the Year 2001 award for Century 21
Millennium.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee and Ruby Dell Lewis
Carley;
one brother, John Harold Carley; and two sisters, Ella Lee Carley Pierce
and
Edith Joy Carley Vinson.
Survivors include his wife, Vetra Marcella Bynog Carley of Pineville;
one son,
Jerry Kenneth Carley Jr. of Alexandria; one daughter, Andrea Renee'
Carley White
of Southbury, Conn.; two brothers, Richard Lewis Car-ley and David Ross
Carley,
both of Baton Rouge; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John R. Carley, Nathan T. White, Michael D.
Stephenson, Mark
Poe, Nathan Carley, Richard Carley, Aaron K. Carley and Brian D. White.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. until time of
services
Sunday in the funeral home.
