MRS. HOOB
Funersl services were held in Montgomery Monday for Mrs. Myrtle Hoob, 61, who
died in a lake Charles Hospital Saturday from injuries received in a fire of
undertemined origin at her home Friday.
Mrs. Hoob, who was burned over a major protion of her ody, was discovered by
Insurance Agent mrs. mary Ruth Hoosier when she called at teh Hoob home in
the afternoon. She summoned a neighbor, Mrs. Ed Yellott, and Mrs. Hobb was
moved to the hospital by ambulance.
Mrs. Hoob is survived by five sons, Oliver and Wilburn Campbell, Fort Worth,
J. D. Campbell, starks, Clint Campbell, Dequincy, and Cliff Campbell, Baton
Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Ardell Manuel, Port Isbell, Texas, Mrs. Marie
DiGulmor, Beacon, New York, two brothers Watson Sharbino, Dry Prong, and
Wiley Sharbino, Montgomery, One sister, Mrs. Cornie Hattaway, Colfax, 16
grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
