Charley Lemoine of M'tgomery Dies
Charley Lemoine, Sr., of Montgomery died at a Pineville hospital Thursday,
Feb 19 following a stroke. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb, 20 from
the Northside Baptist Church of Montgomery with the Rev J. A. Allen and the
Rev. Thompson officiating. Burial was in the St. Maurice Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Waymon Lemoine, Leslie Dubois, jr., James Conley, George
Bookout, J.H. Dubois and H.G. Johnson.
The deceased was born in Natchitoches parish in 1877 and was 81 years of age
at the time of death. He was married to Ella Sanson, who survives. He was a
retired farmer and a member of the Catholic church.
Other survivors include nine children, Mrs. Edmond Sharbono of DeQuincy,
Mrs. Oscar Bookout of Winnfield, Mrs. Lillie Dubois of Baton Rouge, Mrs.
Mabel Thompson of Montgomery. Mrs. Grover Dubois of Houston, Tex., T.L.
Lemoine of Montgomery, Joe of Natchitoches, Charley jr., of Winnfield and
J.W. of Farmerville.
