S.W. Graham Rites held July 31, At Nebo Church
Funeral services for Samuel W. Graham, 73, who died at 2 a.m. Friday, July
30, were held at the Belah Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31. The Rev. Tom
Ratcliff, pastor of the Nebo Baptist Church, and the Rev. Steve Caskey of
the Searcy Baptist Church officiated.
Born on January 12, 1775, at Nebo. Mr. Graham lived in LaSalle Parish
during his entire life. He was a farmer.
Pallbearers were Charles Bres, John Campbell, Willis Chevallier, Dee Taylor
Reginald Ingram, and Elmer Plerson.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home.
** Note** Typed as is in obituary. I believe the 1775 birth date should
have been 1875.
