BROWN, CARL NELSON
Carl Nelson Brown, 45, of Tioga died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday (5-5-1970) in
an Alexandria Hospital. A native of Grant Parish, he was a structural
carpenter foreman at England Air Force Base. He was a member of Anchor
Masonic Lodge No. 261, Pollock and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Lasyone Brown of Tioga; three
brothers, Vernon Brown of Alexandria, Wayne Brown of Natchitoches and
Bobby E. Brown of Pollock; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Leggett of Cheyenne,
Wyo., and Mrs. Dorothy S. Geohagon of Baton Rouge and his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. W. A. Brown of Tioga.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Hixson
Bros. Funeral Home, Alexandria. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial
Park.
