This is to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on this day,
to-wit: the Ninth of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and
Seventy Five and the ninety-ninth of the Independence of the United States of America,
January 9th, 1875, was registered a marriage, celebrated in the city of New Orleans by
Rev. T. Deulin (?) on the 22nd day of December 1874 between JOHN DOW JR. aged thirty-five
years (35 years), a native of England, son of JOHN DOW and ELIZABETH BOUGER and MARY ANNE
THOMPSON aged 17 years, a native of England, daughter of DAVID THOMPSON and MARGARET A.
WATSON. The celebration of the marriage was performed in presence of the witnesses JOHN
TEVAN. The License was issued on the 21st day of December 1874 by Hon. Stephen
O'Leary, Justice of the Peace, in presence of the wintnesses [blank].
