George D. Wagoner
George Dean Wagoner, 87, of Pollock, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23,
1990, in LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.
He was a native of Fishville, a carpenter and a member of Friendship
Baptist Church.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Friendship Baptist Church. Burial
followed in Friendship Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of
Pineville.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Lea Wagoner of Fishville; three sons,
George L. Wagoner and Dewey R. Wagoner, both of Fishville and Franklin R.
Wagoner of Garland, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn Phillips of Eden and
Myrtle Dean Guinn of Jena; one sister, Elizabeth Cook of Fishville; eight
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
