Harvey Watson Bradford
Harvey Watson Bradford, 82, of Georgetown, died at 10:20 a.m., in LaSalle
General Hospital of Jena.
He was a retired restaurant merchant in Georgetown, a member of Georgetown
Masonic Lodge, a former member of the Grant Parish Police jury and a former
mayor of the Village of Georgetown for four years.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 8, in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Brian Hill officiating.
Masonic graveside services followed at Georgetown Cemetery of Georgetown
under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Bradford of Georgetown; two daughters,
Harlan Beth Issac of Georgetown and Francis Jo Johnson of Baton Rouge;
three step-daughters, Myrtle Lasyone of Winnfield, Glenda Shelton of
Georgetown and Carolyn Cupit of Monroe; one son, Rodney K. Bradford of
Georgetown; one step-son, Thurman Beavers of Georgetown; one brother, Wade
Bradford of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ken Bradford, Kelley Bradford, Mitchell Issac, Paul
Johnson, Patrick Johnson, and Jim Bradford.
Honorary pallbearers were James Kent, Johnny Maxwell, James Shelton, Bobby
Henderson, and Dan Johnson.
