Red Land # 148, was organized in 1856, chartered February 10, 1857,
and located
at Red Land, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. It was serviced by the post office
at Rocky
Mount.
While under dispensation and the first year under its new charter,
the lodge was led

Red Land Lodge continued to operate from its organization at Red
Land, Bossier
Parish, in 1856, even during the Civil War, until February 2, 1926, when the
lodge
surrendered its charter after seventy years of service to both the area and
fraternity.
The lodge was located at Red Land, Bossier Parish, but was served at
various
times, from the post offices at Rocky Mount, Collinsburg, Carterville, and
Plain Dealing,
all Bossier Parish.
