L.M. Guilliams Dies After Long Illness
Lloyd M. Guilliams, 61, of Winnfield died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday,=20
April 19. 1973, in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a=20
native of Verda, a logging contractor, and a member of the Apostolic=20
church of West Monroe.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Guilliams of Winnfield; his mother,=20
Mrs. Ella Guilliams of Winnfield, and two brothers, J.T. Guilliams and=20
Buford Guilliams, both of Winnfield.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral=20
chapel with burial in Garden of Memories. Rev. James Gorham officiated,=20
assisted by Rev. Clarence Bates.
Pallbearers included Bud Roberts, Troy Kyson, Marlin Collins,=20
Byron Tullos, C.C. Taylor, Charlie James.
