Former Resident of Winn Parish Dies
Mr. Cecil Fred Tarver, age 76, 3 months and 19 days, died at his
home in Franklin parish near Winnsboro Tuesday, November 18. Funeral
services were held Wednesday with interment in the White Swan cemetery
at Winnsboro, with the Rev. Henry Keys of Winnfield officiating.
Mr. Tarver was born in Mississippi, and moved to Louisiana in early
life. He was reared in Winn parish, and was married to Adline Skinner,
who died in 1923.
Surviving Mr. Tarver are his wife, Mrs. Emma Sullivan Tarver,
and the following daughters, Mrs. Etta Sanders of Jiggers, La., Mrs.
Minda White, Winnfield; Mrs. Lydia Gilmore, Fort Necessity; and Mrs.
Everlee White, Winnfield.
