Mrs. L. M. Williams
Mrs. L. M. Williams, age 73 years, 11 months and 24 days, died
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Wilkins, Monday, March 5th,
11 P.M.
Mrs. Williams was born and reared in Lexington, Tenn., and also
married there. At the age of 17 she became a member of the Methodist
church. In later years she moved to Arkansas and five years ago came to
Winnfield where she has since been with her daughter, Mrs. Wilkins.
The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. E. Wilkins and
Mrs. Myrtle Ashcraft, of Winnfield; Mrs. R. C. Rowell of New Boston,
Texas; Mrs. Nora Brooks, of Lake Village, Ark.; thirteen grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren, all of whom attended the funeral services,
which were held at the home of Mrs. Wilkins Tuesday afternoon, March 6th
at 4:00 P.M., Rev. C. C. Wier, pastor of the Methodist church, had
charge of the services. Interment was in the Winnfield cemetery.
