Subject: {not a subscriber} Stowe Cemetery
To Whom It May Concern:
The second oldest cemetery in the area that was once known
as Union Parish, Louisiana is located seven miles from Ruston,
Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. I am told it is the second oldest
cemetery in the area. The gravestone data was E-mailed to
Kelly Priestly and Karen Mabry Rice.
Karen was sent the only pictures I had of Hannah Payne Wood
and some of the other graves. Unfortunately, she has not been
able to post them on her site since Matthew Wood and Hannah
were buried in Lincoln Parish. This is sad as Matthew Wood
was the President of the first police jury and donated the land
for the town of Farmerville, Louisiana. She advised me to contact
Kelly Priestly who has not responded to any of my e-mails.
I am going to send the pictures again. It is too hard for me to
type the cemetery information again. If Karen still has it, perhaps
she could forward the information on to you.
There will be two (2) pictures on each e-mail which will follow
this letter.
Is there a reason no one wants the John Stow Cemetery information?
This cemetery has been restored and is totally beautiful. The pictures
will speak for themselves.
