Does anybody know how I can obtain a copy of a marriage application and/or
a copy of a license? I have been trying for two years and keep getting
duplicate copies of the certificate. The certificate shows the page and
number of the license. But apparently nobody knows how to retrieve it.
Ihave gone through both New Orleans and Baton Rouge-both without success.
The marriage is old (1893), so the record should be in the archives. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks to all.
