I am interested in the LABOYTEAUX surname in Hamilton Co., OH, too.
The following is a brief summary of what I've found primarily from
LDS Ancestral Files. I have not verified anything with primary sources
yet. There are 3 different people who have submitted information on
this line and info matches between researchers in most cases.
I am descended from William Van Dyke and Maria/Mary Laboyteaux's son,
Dominicus Van Dyke who was born 17 Feb 1782 in Somerset Co., NJ and died
and was buried in Springdale, Hamilton, OH, via his daughter, Mary Ann
Van Dyke, born in Springdale, Hamilton, OH about 1810/11, died in
Daviess Co., IN after 1870.
