Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

WILSON, Russell age 90, of Gratis, OH. died Sat. Sept. 22, 2012 in Middletown, OH. He was born Aug. 5, 1922 in Wolfe County, KY. to William and Mary (Haynes) Wilson. He was a WWII and Korean War Navy veteran. He retired from ARMCO Steel in 1985. Mr. Wilson was a member of Gratis United Methodist Church and many organizations, including, VFW #3804 of Middletown, Gratis Eden Oddfellows #147, Charter member of Gratis Lions Club and Gratis Eagles #4289, Middletown American Legion Post #218, former board member of Preble County Historical Society. He was a former Gratis Councilman and Mayor for 30+years and member of Preble County Mayors Assoc. He was influential in helping start the Gratis Rescue Squad. Mr. Wilson is survived by his son, Rev. David (Linda) Wilson, Arcanum, OH. daughter, Cathy (Dennis) Lohrey, Gratis, OH., 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Alma Rinehart, Middletown, OH. nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emma Wilson, 5 brothers, Al Wilson, Herb Wilson, Glenn Wilson, Chet Wilson, Leonard Wilson and sister, Alta Begley. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Thurs. Sept. 27, 2012 at Gratis United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH. JOHNSON, Omeda age 89 of Cape Coral, FL entered into eternal rest with the Lord on September 17, 2012. Omeda passed away peacefully at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. Omeda was born in Wolf County, Kentucky on January 29, 1923. She and her husband Charles lived in Middletown, OH for many years before moving to Hialeah, FL in 1960. Omeda worked a variety of professions over her lifetime; however, her passion to spend time with family was of most importance. For years, Omeda loved sewing and crocheting many beautiful creations for family and friends alike. Her tremendous talent of not even needing a pattern, just a ?keen eye?, was truly amazing. Omeda greatly enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, particularly, picking those delicious oranges from the large tree in her backyard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will deeply be missed! Omeda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Mary Combs; 4 brothers; 4 sisters; husband, Charles Johnson; son, Donnie Johnson. She is survived by son, Fred Johnson of Tavares, FL; daughter, Charlotte Johnson of Cape Coral, FL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Taylor of Trenton, OH; Gladys Selby of Lebanon, TN; brother, Gene Combs of St. Petersburg, FL; many nieces and nephews. Edna Mae Hollon, of Lexington, Ky and formerly of Hazel Green,Ky passed away Sunday , September 16,2012 in the UK Good Samaritan Hospital,Lexington,KY after a brief illness. She was born August 27,1914 in Cincinnati ,Ohio, daughter of the late Alvin B.Hoover & Minnie Lunsford Hoover.
She was a retired high school music teacher at Hazel Green Academy,Hazel Green,Ky. She was a member of the Crestwood Christian Church,Lexington,Ky.
She is survived by one daughter,Connie Mae Hollon Large & husband,George Large II, of Princeton,Ky. One son, James I.Hollon III,his wife,Nancy B.Hollon of Mobile,Alabama.

LINDON, Jr., Ollie H. 67, of Monroe, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Belknap, Kentucky on March 18, 1945 to parents Ollie H. Sr. and Bertha (Centers) Lindon. Ollie retired as Director of Wooden Roller Coaster Maintenance for Kings Island / CBS Corp. in 2006 after 29 ½ years. He served his country in the United States Army and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Ollie was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lee City, Kentucky and was an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Lindon is survived by his wife, Paula (Oprea) Lindon; children, Brent (April) Lindon, Karen Roose & Michael Roose; brother, Benjamin (Sue) Lindon; sisters, Lillian Olean Vance, Mary Ann (Howard) Wilson & Lavern Stevens; and three grandchildren, Cassandra Lindon, Aiden Lindon & Dylan Lindon. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Reece Lindon & Gary Lindon; and sister, Dorothy Bailey. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Terry Meehan officiating. DALTON, Judie G. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her residence with Hospice of Dayton Care. She was 93 years, 5 months and 8 days old. She was born February 23, 1919 in Wolfe County, KY to Millard and Lizzie (Pelfery) Hollon. She was owner and operator of Dalton's Grocery for several years. She retired from Wolfe County Board of Education in 1990 and then moved to Ohio and went to work as a greeter at Meijer, retiring at the age of 80. She enjoyed working, quilting, cooking and travel. Her best loved place when traveling was Hawaii. She was a member of Poasttown First Church of God and she enjoyed her walk with God, loved her church family and was loved by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ernie H. Dalton; sons, Rev. James C. and George Millard Dalton; daughter, Juanita Fugate, granddaughter, Margaret E. Brewer; brothers, Arlie, Elza and Arnold Hollon; sisters, Dora Osborne, Virgie Buckhanan, Lucille Combs and Della Cockerham. Judie is survived by a son, Thomas (JoAnn) Dalton of Middletown, OH; daughters, Virginia (Glen) Creech of Rogers, KY, Nora (Frank) Pippin and Mabel Fletcher both of Middletown, OH; 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 46 great, great grandchildren and 1 great, great, great grandchild; special niece and nephew, Pauline Lawson and George Hollon; host of other nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton for their excellent care given to our mother and family. The family would also like to thank the following pallbearers, Frank Marshall, Jim Dalton, Randy Creech, Tim Creech, Charlie Creech, Robert Fugate, Hershell Tillett, Chris Lane and the honorary pallbearers, Frank Pippin and Glen Creech. Her visitations will be held Friday, September 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Poasttown First Church of God in Middletown and on Saturday, September 8th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Porter & Son Funeral Home in Campton KY. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, September 9th at 2:00 pm at Porter & Son with Rev. Kenny Brewer and Rev. Adam Hays officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rose-Tutt-Swango Cemetery.
