Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
ADAMS, Gladys M. age 93, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. She was born August 6, 1918 in Wolfe County, KY to Charles and Bertha (Trent) Tester. She was a homemaker. Gladys was the world's best cook for grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Adams in 1987; sons, James D. Adams and Bill Adams; brothers, Marshal and D.B. Tester, Roy Spicer; sisters, Maxine Denny and Carrie Acker, Dorothy McKnight; grandchildren, Doug Adams, Harold W. Hollon, Seth M. Smith; daughter-in-law, Gloria Adams; son-in-laws, Richard Banta, Ron Hollon. Gladys is survived by sons, Leon Adams, Denzil (Catherine) Adams, Stanley (Paulette) Adams, James C. (Cathy) Adams, Carl (Sheri) Adams; daughters, Jean Banta, Ruby Hollon, Betty (Ronald) Traver; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. OWENTON - Carl Banks, 78, of Owenton, KY passed away on May 25, 2012. He
was born the youngest of 11 children on Nov 22, 1933 to Stanley and Cora Lee
Little in the Mary community of Wolfe County, KY. After graduating from
Wolfe County High School, Carl enlisted in the United States Army and served 3
years as a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division. He then attended
college ultimately earning a doctorate of education from the University of
Kentucky. Carl served in many positions from teacher to principle during his
career finally retiring as superintendent of Owen County Schools, a
position he held for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Brakefield
Banks, his son James Carl Banks of Madison, AL, his wife Juliann and
granddaughters Emma and Sarah; his son Stan Lee Banks of Frankfort, KY, his wife
Leigh and grandson Samuel Carl; his son True McClanahan of Louisville, KY,
his wife Tammy and his granddaughters Tiernan and Delaney; and his sister,
Nancy Jones and her husband Robert, of Miamisburg, OH. In addition to his
immediate family, Carl is survived by Geoffrey Geoghegan of Henderson, KY who
was like a son to him as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pall
bearers are his sons as well as Larry Green of Monterey, KY and Joey Lynch of
Lexington. Visitation will be 11am-2pm Tue, May 29 at Main Street location
of McDonald and New Funeral Home in Owenton, KY with the funeral to
immediately follow. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Owen

ROGERS, Anna Ruth (nee Willis) age 79, of Middletown, Ohio, went to meet her heavenly father May 22, 2012. Anna, one of earth's most precious angels, was born October 30, 1932 to Troy and Ida (Sallie) Willis in Wolfe County, Kentucky. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Anna was employed in the grocery business in the Middletown area for 35 years. She was a devoted and longtime member of the Towne Boulevard Church of God and enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting and working puzzles. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Roscoe Rogers; two brothers, Lawrence and Henry Willis; sister, Clara Willis; and step-daughter and husband, Bill and Wilma Lykins. She is survived by two children, Michael Rogers and wife Susan of Lebanon, Ohio and Sandy Townsend and husband Bob of Franklin, Ohio; one step-son, Burl Rogers of Franklin, Ohio; ten grandchildren, April York, Bryan Hawk, Brent Townsend, Kristina and Courtney Rogers, Danny, Randy and Gary Lykins, Wendell and Roy Rogers; and seven great-grandchildren, Gary Wayne, Stephanie, Evan, Adin, Kayden, Landen and Audrey. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Towne Boulevard Church of God, 3722 Towne Boulevard, Franklin, Ohio, followed by services at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mitchell Burch officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Norman "Curley" Lewis was born February 12, 1935 in Rogers Kentucky to
Hurley and Esther (nee: Spencer) Lewis and died May 11, 2012. He is the
loving companion of 30 years to Carole Myre. Norman is the father of
Jerry (Dianne) Lewis, Lisa Stevens and Norman (Trish) Lewis, Jr. He is
the grandfather of Misti, Stefanie, Kaitlynn, Tommy, Brianna, Garret,
Whitney, Jill, Mike and Riely. He also has 11 great grandchildren.
Norman is the brother of Herman, Dallas, Johnny, Linda, the late Velman
and the late Eva.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home (340 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled
Lake) Tuesday at 7pm. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4pm until the time
of the service.

BANKS, Cledith T. age 90 passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Carlisle
Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 23, 1921 in Wolfe County, KY the
daughter of Floyd and Georgia Bailey. She was a member of the Full Gospel
Tabernacle in Miamisburg. She is preceded in death by her parents; her
first husband, Edgar Trusty; a son, Ben Trusty; and one grandchild.
Cledith is survived by her husband, Herman; her children, Deloris Trusty,
Anna Barkalow, Juanita Wyatt, Don Trusty, Peggy Ledford, and Ron Trusty.
She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral service will be Thursday,
May 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM with Lonnie Mitchell officiating at Anderson
Funeral Home (Franklin). Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until time of
service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be Friday, May 4,
2012 at 1:00 PM at Machpelah Cemetery in Mount Sterling, KY.
