Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
BONETTA L. COMBS RUNYAN
Bonetta L. Combs Runyan, 63, of West Jefferson died Monday, Nov. 29,
2004, at her residence with her family at her side.
She graduated from Union Local High School in 1958 and retired from
General Motors in 1993 after 28 years of service.
She was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Stanton, Ky., and is survived by her
parents, Audrey and Elmer Combs of Rosedale; her loving husband, Carl,
whom she married May 28, 1959; a daughter, Carla (Larry L.) Stover of
West Jefferson; a son, Carl Runyan Jr. of West Jefferson;
granddaughters, Paige and Jocelyn Stover and Stephanie Runyan of West
Jefferson; a grandson, Zachary Carl Runyan of Westerville; two sisters,
Phyllis (Leonard) Daum of Milford Center and Monell (Ron) Dooley of
Rosedale; two brothers, Elmer Gene (Chrystal) Combs of Milford Center
and Bill (Betty) Combs of Marysville; three aunts, Jean (John) Fasang of
Winchester, Ky., Rosetta Lencke of Panama City, Fla., and Dorothy Combs
of Marysville; an uncle, James (Bobbie) Combs of Milford Center; and
many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rader-McDonald
Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson. The Rev. Jerry Newman
will officiate and burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West
Jefferson. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Elmer was the s/o Samuel Porter Combs and America McAlister. Samuel was
the s/o Joseph Samuel Combs and Elizabeth Drake.
BREWER, Rev. Harold, age 66, of Trenton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord
on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 6,
1944 in Rogers, Kentucky. He served in the Air Force during the Viet Nam
War. He was employed for 30 years as a Machinist at AK Steel. He was a
member of the Christian Enterprise Baptist Church, and also preached in
services on Wednesday at the Garden Manor Retirement Village. The family
sends their special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke and
Staff, and Hospice Care of Middletown. Preceding him in death were his
parents, Elberton and Orlenia (King) Brewer; two brothers, Elberton
"Bert" Jr. and Wallace Brewer; and one sister, Frances Thompson. He is
survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol (nee Haney) Brewer; one
daughter, Melissa Cantrell; one son, Jeff (Amy) Brewer; six
grandchildren, Kendall N. Brewer, Jessica, Erica and Sara Cantrell,
Brittany Brewer and Brandon Brewer; two brothers, James "Art" Brewer and
John Brewer; and one sister, Margaret Hayes. Visitation will be Friday,
March 4, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Christian Enterprise
Baptist Church, 405 Gideon Road, Middletown, followed by services at
12:00 noon with Rev. James Anderson officiating. Interment will be at
Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio with military services by
Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral

BELCHER, Henrietta age 91, of Montrose, CO (formerly of Beavercreek,
OH), passed away Feb. 22, 2011, peacefully, at home with her daughter,
Diana, by her side. She was born in Campton, KY, on October 26, 1919 to
the late Hugh and Jennie (Adams) Mullins. She was preceded in death by
her husbands Raymond E. Drake and Laverne Belcher, sister Alberta Davis,
brothers Leslie, Horace, Ivon, Joe, and Harold Mullins. She is survived
by her daughter, Diana Drake (David) Wilson of Montrose, CO;
granddaughter DanRae (Matt) Wilson (Barbier) of Culver City, CA; sisters
Lorena (Al) Ruskin of Garden Grove, CA, Allene Morrissey of Englewood,
OH, Jeanette (James) Rose of Trenton, OH, Phyllis (Al) Hardy of Lebanon,
OH; brothers Gene (Shirley) Mullins of Crittenden, KY, Rex (Darlene)
Mullins of Locust Grove, OK; step-sons Michael Belcher of Beavercreek,
OH, Norman Belcher of Marina Del Rey, CA; and many nieces and nephews
whom she loved very much. In her younger years Henrietta was employed by
Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, OH, and Gem City Savings in
Dayton, OH. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Beavercreek,
OH. Henrietta was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, wife, and
sister. She loved to knit and enjoyed many family "laugh until you cry"
moments. Henrietta's wishes were to be cremated. Private graveside
services will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH at the
convenience of the family.
