Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

SMYTH, Charles Paul age 82 of Riverside, passed away October 25, 2011. He
is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Corinne Smyth (1994)
and his parents, Lloyd and Catherine Smyth. He is survived by his
daughter, Linda McKelvey; sons, Charles Ray (Karen) Smyth, Paul E.
(Brenda) Smyth, Jeff Smyth, James Smyth; sisters, Mildred Sparks,
Millievern (Willis) Caldwell; brothers, Tommy (Kathy) Smyth, Jr. Lloyd
(Janice) Smyth; sister in-law, Louise Smyth; grandchildren, Tommy
(Melissa) McKelvey, Bobby (Jessie) McKelvey, Nikki Smyth, Nathalie Smyth,
Kessa (Dave) Baumgardner, Katie Smyth, Dustin Smyth, Skyler Smyth,
Courtney (Chris) Ralston; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their help
and kindness. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on October 30, 2011
at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at
Grange Hall Rd. A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of
service on Sunday, October 30. Interment will take place on Monday,
October 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Eaton Cemetery, Clay City, Kentucky. In

Richard Allen "Richie" Tays, 29, of Winchester passed away on Sat., Oct.
22, 2011 in Irvine, KY. Survivors include his mother, Dawn Tays (Robert)
Johnson of Winchester; his father, Richard Jones of Atlanta, GA; brother,
Kevin Johnson of Winchester; sister, Stacey Johnson of Winchester;
grandmother, Laverne Jones of Winchester; nephew and niece Grant and Grace
Gross; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in
death by his grandmother, Katherine Tays.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., Wed., Oct. 26 at Scobee
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Lee
Cruse. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be
David Tays, Danny Wallace, Mike Walden, Chuck Wells, Darrin Tays, Chad

BACK, John Wesley age 84, of Middletown, went to be with the Lord
Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was
born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, May 26, 1927, the son of Collins Back
and Martha (Taulbee) Back. John worked as a Master Mechanic at Aeronca
Manufacturing. He is survived by his wife Mary (Underwood) Back; four
daughters, Wanda June Nohitsch, Virginia Ann Turner, Marcella Brown,
Sandy Barnett; four sons, Charles Phillip Back, Ronny Bishop, Larry
Back, Dennis Back; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two
sisters, Mary and Ada; two brothers, Vernon and Waldean; and many nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by three daughters, Teresa
Collier, Debbie Vice, Susan Howell and two brothers, Ershel and Bluford.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 13 at the
Poasttown Church of God, officiated by Reverend Kenny Brewer. Visitation
will be 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral
Home. Burial will be in Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton. A guestbook is

TAULBEE, Rev. Elbert "Leon" age 73, of Kettering, Ohio, went to meet the
Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Bethany Village Nursing Home,
Centerville, Ohio. Leon was born on October 26, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio,
to William Lennox and Cosby Taulbee. He served as an Engineer in the U. S.
Army (Reserves) for 7 years. On August 24, 1957, Barbara E. Wilkerson and
Elbert Leon Taulbee were joined in Holy Matrimony at the Hatfield Street
Church in Dayton. They remained soul mates for over 54 years. He was a
Pastor for over 35 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and
farther and beloved grandchild, Felicia. Leon in survived by his devoted
and loving wife, Barbara of Kettering; three daughters, Deborah L. Murphy
of Fairborn, Tammy S. Smart of Dayton and Sondra K. Newhouser of Dayton;
two sons; Timothy L. Taulbee of Kettering and William S. Taulbee of Huber
Heights; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Verle
Taulbee and L. B. Taulbee; two sisters, Charlene Wood and Sharon Lockhart
and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will greatly miss his
love and presence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday in the
JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, with Pastors Charles and
Jamie Noel officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the
services. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Cosby was a Chambers, she and Lennox were married 1929 in Wolfe County.
