Dean Alan Combs, 49, of Lakeview, passed away early Sunday Morning, June 27, 2010 at OSU
Medical Center, Columbus, OH.
He was born on January 28, 1961 in Springfield, OH to Roger Fraley, who lives in
Springfield, and the late Barbara Colvin Fraley. On November 15, 2008, he married the love
of his life and companion of 21 years, the former Sandra Kay Skaggs, in Lakeview.
He is survived by his wife: Sandy, a stepson: Shanon Folk of West Mansfield, OH, a
stepdaughter: Kari Folk of Lakeview, four step-grandchildren: Seth, Erik, Emily, and
Wyatt, a sister: Pamela (Rodney) Rice, Kettering, OH, three brothers: Terry (Sara) Combs,
Miami, FL, Kevin Combs and Roger Fraley, both of Springfield, and several nieces and
Dean attended Urbana High School. He was a construction contractor who enjoyed fishing and
playing cards. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533, and Indian Lake FOE
Aeries #3615, both of Lakeview.
Reverend Bryan Meadows will officiate funeral services at 7:00 pm, June 30, 2010 at
Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, with visitation from 5-7 pm.
Memorial Contributions may be given in his name to his family.
Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview.

Age 34, of 781 Xenia Ave., Xenia,Ohio , passed away Thursday. He was a
selfemployed cement contractor. Survived by 1 daughter, Pamela; 2 sons, Dean
Allen and Terry, all of Xenia, 4 sisters, Mrs. Josephine Rae of Michigan,
Mrs. Lois Caudill of Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Judy Williams and Miss Patricia
Combs, both of Hazard,Kentucky; 6 brothers, Edsel Ray Combs of Dayton,Ohio,
James Combs, Darrell Combs, and Gary Wayne Combs of Springfield, Ohio, Billy
Ray Combs and Kelsey Combs, both of Hazard,Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Hoyne Funeral Home,
5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton,Ohio. Rev. Jin Chapman officiating. Burial Miami
Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 3 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m.
