Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Van Ratliff, Sr. age 77 passed away Sunday February 5, 2017. He was born April 4, 1939 in Hazard, KY to the late Lawrence and Helen (nee Creech) Ratliff. In Hamilton on November 27, 1965 he married Shirley Ann Sturgill. Van is survived by his wife Shirley of 51 years; two children Van Ratliff, Jr., Amy Dryer; eight grandchildren Eric, Cody, Korey, Brooklyn, Heather, Kelly, Tiffany, Samantha; four great grandchildren Eric, Cody, Arianna, Bryson and one on the way. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Along with his parents Van was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Ratliff; nine siblings Mitchell, Malcolm, Arnold, Roland, Vincent, David, Corinthian, Opal, and Bonnie.
Visitation will be at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4 Fairfield Wednesday February 8, 2017 from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM with Pastor Wilma Saylor-Jackson officiating.
