Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I've uploaded several new records to the marriages and vital statistics
sections. Please take a look and use the search engine. There are many
other related surnames included. Many thanks to the contributors who help
make these records available. Your generosity is deeply appreciated :-)

I have just been reading page 65 of "A HISTORY OF CLAY COUNTY" by Roy White.
William Baker was hung for the murder of Frank Prewett on January 15, 1850.
His trial began in June 1848.
His wife Matilda was implicated in the murder. She was transferred to Owsley
Co for her trial. I don't know the exact date of her trial, but I sure would
like to know how
that came out.
Anyone have information on her trial?
