I have an "official" announcement to make. We are finally done with the
first half of the 1920 Perry Co census. It has over 15,000 names in it and
its great!!! (I have mine already) We will put it on line somewhere later,
maybe in a couple of years. And we all know how the people moved from Owsley
Co to Perry Co and then back again. And we wanted to offer it in "Book Form"
so the ones without PC's could have it also. One thing we want to make clear,
this is a NON PROFIT project. We just need to cover the cost of copying,
binding and shipping.....So heres our ad.....

The 1920 Perry Co Kentucky Census Volume One of two is now ready for sale.
Rock Bottom "NO" profit cost is $47.80. This Includes shiping & handling.
Has 569 pages with GBC binding so it will lay flat on desk or copier, All
person index. It took the 3 of us (Jimmie, Norma and me)10 months to complete
this first half and we feel it is very comprehensive and true to the original
census. Email questions to CrashedOne(a)aol.com

Does anyone know when Daniel B.C. Capps (Caps) died in Owsley Co? He is in the 1860 Census and not in the 1870 Census, but his wife Nancy (Hurst) and children are. I am assuming he died between 1860 and 1870 when the census were done. I would really appreciate any help you can give me on this.
Would it be possible for someone to look up the marriage date of Jobe Allen
Kelly and Martha Lucinda Edwards please? They were married in Owsley County,
Ky around 1880.
Any other information you may have about this family would be greatly

Can anyone tell me how I can find out when and when Daniel Capps was buried in Owsley Co., KY? He is in the 1860 census and is not listed in the 1870 Census with his wife (Nancy Hurst) and their children. I would really appreciate any help with this. I am at a dead end.
I personally don't think you owe anyone an apology. You're doing a fine job.
No one expects you to live and breath for your webpages. Heck, I've visited
sites elsewhere that haven't been touched in years!
What I don't think everyone out here on the net realizes is that we accept
donations of material to post to our sites - we can't do it all by ourselves.
I think if everyone who has info, for whatever county in whatever state,
would just donate it to one or all of the various Genealogy Projects out
there (USGenWeb, ALHN, AHGP, etc), it would help our fellow researchers out

I would appreciate it if anyone could provide me with further marriage
information for the following people:
Robert B. McINTIRE(McINTYRE) and Evaline D. CALMES(could be spelled as
Calimese or other variation).
There may be the possibility that Evaline could also possibly be listed under
the surname of REED.
The marriage date is believed to be September 9, 1862.
I would like to verify the marriage date and place if possible. I am trying
to verify the parentage of Evaline Calmes.
