I have been trying to find the father or parents of Sally Jones who married a Bennett/Barnett Noel on Feb 25, 1822. From the information on the 1850 census she would have been born about 1802 in Ky. Thank you kindly,
Wilda I have some info on the Noels but I do not have a Barlett. Do you know anything about Barlett Noel?

Thank you so very much for all the information you sent to me and the Cammack contacts you also gave me. Do you by chance know the parents of Daniel Stewart who married Mahala? I wanted to see if he might fit into my Stewart families. I certainly appreciate the information and help you have given me.
I am wondering if someone who has access to census records for Owen County, Ky. would be willing to try to find three census records for me. They are:
1860 Owen Co., Ky. census for: ELISHA STEWART bn 1824 in Ky. with wife MARY MARTHA bn 1826 in Ky.
1870 Owen Co., Ky. census for: ELISHA STEWART bn 1824 in Ky. with wife MARY MARTHA bn 1816 in Ky.
1900 Owen Co., Ky. census for: JOHN M. CAMMACK bn 1869 with wife ISA Athaline or she could be recorded as "ICY" bn 1863 or 1865 in KY.
I certainly appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you very much!!
This message will be of interest to anyone who is a descendant of Daniel
Webster born ca. 1760 in Caroline County, Virginia and died ca. May 8, 1833 in
Boone County, Kentucky.
I have been working on the connections between the Webster and Vaughn
families who migrated to Fayette County, KY in the early 1800s. I believe I have
found the wife of Daniel Webster and the connection to the Vaughn family.
Cornelius Vaughn was born April 17, 1729, in King and Queen County, Virginia.
He died in February 1785 in Spottsylvania County, Virginia. He married
Frances Spencer on June 5, 1750, in Caroline County, Virginia. They had a daughter
named Mary Ann Vaughn. This Mary Ann Vaughn appears to be the wife of Daniel
Webster. This theory is borne out in the names of the children which include
Frances, Cornelius and Spencer as well as the fact Spencer was used as a first
name and middle name in the Webster line after that for several generations.
I am currently seeking the will of Cornelius Vaughn who died Feb. 1785 and
this may give the final answer to this question. There are marriages between
the Vaughn family and Pemberton family, Leavell family, Threlkeld family, and
the Webster family all of which migrated to Clark, Garrard and Fayette Counties
around the same time.
There is a marriage between John Pemberton and Patsy Webster in Jessamine
19 Jan 1818. I cannot identify Patsy Webster and if anyone knows who she is
please let me know.
I will post more data as I find it on this idea.
