Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Go to RootsWeb's World Connect Database and search for "George Rees
Duvall." You will find four separate submissions, showing George as
the child of Cornelius Duvall and Polly Rees. Three of the submissions
show the children of George and Mary. including daughter "Sara J."
Unfortunately, they have nothing further on Sara.
I would suggest checking the marriage records for Owen County and
seeing if you can find a Sara Duvall being married in the 1870s or 80s.

Could someone please tell me which Jones line Thornton Jones belongs with in
Owen County? I cannot find him among the descendants of William Jones and
Delilah Cobb or Joseph Jones and Sarah Chandler. This leaves Jonas Jones and
possibly Stafford Jones.

There is some connection between John Glass, Belfield Glass, Thomas A.
Berryman and Landon Martin that I can't figure out.
On the 1820 Owen County census Elijah Martin is living between John Glass and
his brother Belfield Glass. By the 1830 census Elijah Martin had moved and
was living in between Colby Holbrook, Sr. and Colby Holbrook Jr. with Landon
Martin living on the other side of Colby Holbrook, Jr.
John Glass posted bond for Landon Martin's second marriage to Emily Morton:
MARTIN, Landon to Emily MORTON, Oct 1, 1838. Bond: John Glass.

I am doing some research on Alexander Jackson who was born about 1790-1794 in Va.? Alexander Jackson married Margaret or Peggy McGibney on the 21 Feb 1816 in Gallatin Co., Ky. I would like to know the names of their children. So far all I have found for their children are: James W. Jackson by 1824 and Andrew Jackson born 1837. If someone has information on Alexander Jackson and family, would you be willing to share that information with me? Thank you so very much!
