I have a copy of the original 1816 plat, and it shows Lot #14 situated on
the corner of Sugartree Alley and Elm Street. This lot was sold to "R.
Hamilton" for $62. Lot #15 is the lot on the south side of #14 and sits on
the corner of Elm Street and South Street. It was sold to "John Hamilton"
By chance, do you show a Jenny Hamilton related to your ancestor -- maybe a
sister, daughter, first cousin? She lived just across the county line in
North Middleton, Bourbon Co. KY.

Subject: [KYNICHOL] map
Doe's anyone know where I can get an old map of Carlisle? I am looking for
lot #14 on Elm St. I believe it went south to the creek and south street.
South street is not on the web maps. My g/g/g/grandfather had ahouse there
lot #14. when he died in 1828. He is buried somewhere in Carlisle.
Thanks for the information. I don't remember seeing a Jenny anywhere. What
would it be a nickname for?
