J just finished making mine and it IS DELICIOUS.. try it....
This recipe is the one used by Cranberry Sweets in Bandon. They sell it
by the barrels. Easy to make, good to eat, and great for that Christmas
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 cup sugar
3 small pkgs Raspberry Jello
1/2 cup FINELY chopped walnuts
Put the sauce in a pan, add the sugar and stir it up well using heat,
stirring all the time to get the lumps out.
Add Jello, and continue stirring. Bring to a boil and let it boil 1
minute. The lumps WILL come out.
Remove from heat and let stand in pot for 20 minutes. Add the nuts,
Pour into a buttered 8x8" Pyrex dish.
Let stand at room temperature 2 days. When fairly firm, cut into small
squares and roll each in plain sugar.
That's it. Very simple and very good.
