I did a search on Morehead black female in Kentucky and found 7, three of which were in
their 70's
Mary Morehead 72, Amanda Morehead 74, and Agnes Morehead 70.
As for the Marta/Martha, the capital M on Mclean (county name) is quite similar to the
first letter of
the name. After the t, the next letter is missing the first upstroke, and there is a
broken cross line
on the T. I'm wondering if the leg of the h goes there?
