Sheila,
You can upload the images individually or in folders - it doesn't matter.
The images, once processed, are run through another program that renames
them to match the record in the database and sorts them into the correct
county directory for the transcribers.

Hi all,
I would like to know if the image files that are uploaded to
user.rootsweb.com need to be in subdirectories. I understand that the
files need to be put in the correct directory for each year. Do they
also need to be in a subdirectory for each batch, for example,
1913-21125, or can I upload all the files from several batches into the
appropriate year directory ?
