Now that I've had a chance to personally notify
relatives and close friends who are subscribed to this
list, I thought I'd send on a note to all of you.
I will be less available to the project for the near
future while I take care of my husband. He is 52 and
has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. We've made
a hasty return to Kentucky where we still had health
insurance. We'll probably remain here.
While I'm less available, you are in great hands! The
assistant project coordinators have been assuming more
and more responsibility over the last 6 months. They
are smart, talented, motivated and doing a terrific
job! I'm continuing to work with them as I can,
helping them to assume even more duties. They will
keep the project on track and running smoothly.
I will be in contact with them as often as possible. I
ask that you support them as you have supported me. If
you do that, we can't help but succeed!!
I have a bit of time this morning to work on assigning
transcription counties that are up for adoption. For
those of you who expressed interest, those new
assignments should appear in your folders by evening.
NOTE: For those of you who are behind on your
assignments, please send a note letting me know your
status. For those who have been behind for some time,
I need to know if I should reassign your counties or
if you will be able to catch up and keep up.
Have a great day!!
