Duh!! I knew I should have realized what it was! You see, I just started
transcribing the forms, and so far no one's been married.
Thank you so much!

Dee,
When entering the place of birth, it should be entered as written on the
dc.
See transcriber instructions under Places.
The fields below the mother and above informant are for spouse information
(given and surname).

I'm not sure if this has been addressed before - and I apologize if it
has...
When we're entering the place of birth and on the written form we see,
'Martin Co., Kentucky,' should we enter 'martin co kentucky' or
'martin co
ky'? In other words should we enter exactly what is on the form?
Second, I'm confused about a field. Just below the mother's information,
above the informant fields - what is that for? I'm sure I should know, but
I haven't figured it out.
thanks,
Dianna
