Two things:
1) TRANSCRIBERS are not to use any source other than the death certificate
image for help in deciphering names, dates or places. This is a "blind"
transcription. You will compromise the process if you use any other source.
We need to know what YOU see, not what someone else saw. PROOFERS and
INDEXERS may use the Kentucky Death Index or other sources for another
opinion on the names.
2) USUAL RESIDENCE -- On the 1911 death certificates, there IS a field where
there may be a usual residence entered. It is the third line up from the
bottom on the right column (Former or usual residence). Do not pick up usual
residence information from any of the location fields above the deceased's
name on the certificate.
