From now on, please address questions about transcribing and proofing
to
this list rather than to me personally. There is enough experience among the
volunteers now that some of the senior transcribers can help you.
I'll be reading every post and will answer promptly if no one else does, but
I'd like to give the senior transcribers a shot at answering your questions
first.
You will need to know how to get to the image if a transcriber or proofer
has a question on a particular death certificate. All the 1911 image folders
use this path:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kvrp/dc/19/1911/[first digit in folder
no.]/[foldernumber]/
You will have to replace the variable information in brackets with the
correct numbers. All certificates except 1-99 are assigned a folder by
changing the last two digits of the certificate number to zeros (dc's 1-99
are in folder 1).
To access the html transcriptions once they are uploaded, the folder is the
same as the images.
