When you receive a transcription that has the wrong certificate number (I
just saw one come through with a ` at the beginning), be sure to change it
in the name of the document AND in the link to the image at the bottom of
the Primary Transcription. These links are automatically generated by what
is entered in the certificate number field during transcription.
If you are proofing these in a software that also brings up the image and
the image doesn't come up, please check that link to make sure it is
correct. We've occasionally had a transcriber who used his/her old form to
start a new folder. If he/she does this, the link will not contain the
correct numbers after the dc/19/1911/
portion of the link.
The numbers after the 1911/ should be
first digit of the folder number/
folder number/
