Whoops - got that turned around.

Hi.
DCert 1660
In the case of the missing year, you would enter the birth day and month, but
leave the year blank. When you give the age, it would be listed as >1,
telling the researcher that the birth ocurred less than a year ago, namely 1910.
This way, you are allowed to let the person reading the file come to their own
conclusion about the birth year, without actually adding unspecified
information yourself.
DCert 1670
I believe that for these circumstances (no names, surname or otherwise
shown), the deceased would be listed (without the quotations marks, of course) as
"unnamed infant unknown".
DCert 1672
For discrepancies of date, transcribers are asked to enter death dates and
birth dates just as shown, with the understanding that the proofer will enter a
discrepancy note into the online file.

the info for the stillborn is "unknown fetus" and there are no names for
either parent. How is this supposed to be transcribed?

I have tried to access both images, but receive the message that the " image

On d.c. image
http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kvrp/dc/19/1911/1/16702
the death date is 09 Jan 1911 and birthdate is 19 Jan 1911. Under Transcription Comments, should this be entered as "Discrepancy between birth and death dates" or how?
Thanks,
On the dc image
http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kvrp/dc/19/1911/1/1660
the given name is "infant Robert HUFFMAN", how should be transcribed?
Also on the same dc image the date of birth is "27 Dec". Since the infant is only 6 days old, should the year be added and entered as "27 Dec 1910"?
Thanks!
Looks like either Mamie or Nancie Guterwiert
Definately a German name.

Here is the part I do see: GUTERM
Comparing the G and rm in Germany just above, you can tell that the
above is correct, but I run into problems with the rest of it. It could
be GUTERMuit or GUTERMuih or even GUTERMeith
My BEST guess would be: GUTERMEITH
I am unsure of the T simply because I see it everywhere but never as it
is in this surname. In every instance (s)he crosses the T below the top
of it. This letter has a cross well above the top of the letter.

As you proof, please be vigilant on names with an apostrophe (O'BRIAN, etc.)
Be sure when you view in a text editor (or in FrontPage on the html tab)
that you see an apostrophe, not ,. If they appear as the code
character, please change them so the names can be picked up properly in the
search engine.

I agree with Sherri. Looks like Urmston to me also.

This one is difficult. The deceased's surname appears to be
one thing, until
I looked at the informant signature.
Deceased's surname?
