My Jesse Hosey (Hosea) that married Delilah Brasher is believed to be the brother of your Stephen. They were both in Franklin Co., GA in the early 1800's. Jesse's family left GA in abt. 1819 and were in TN until abt 1825. They left TN and settled in AL. They were supposedly in Russell Valley, TN. I am not sure of the proximity of this community, but I understand it no longer exist as it was used to form a body of water.
My Jesse went to St. Clair Co., AL in abt. 1825 and moved into Shelby Co., AL by abt. 1828 and are found on the 1830 census. Because of the boundary changes taking place at that time, they were probably in the same location, but were on the 1840 census in Talladega Co., AL.
I am interested in your family and would love to exchange information.
Samuel Guy Warford's parents were John Warford, V and Rhoda Guy. Francis Shepherd's parents were John Shepherd, Jr. and Nancy Baskett. I have the lines back to Maj. Robert Shepherd who died in Virginia in the 1640s. Do not know the parents of the Elias Kimberlin. Do know they were cousins.

I posted the query on the KY Jackson Purchase list and received several responses. Zachariah was listed under his initials Z.T. Binford in the 1880 census. In the 1870 census his last name was spelled Beuford and in the 1910 miracode index his name is spelled Zackanir Benford!
His father was Anderson Binford and his mother was Lucy H. Taylor, both born in VA. Zack was born in TN, but in 1850 at the age of 3 he was in Hickman Co., KY.
I am sorry I don't have much to offer you. I had Binford census records for Fulton County, thoughout the years and I am sure Zachariah was there during one enumeration. I put everything I had onto disk and threw all the handwritten paper copies away. Somehow, the disk became corrupted and I lost all of the Binford info I had. That was the only info I didn't save to my hard drive.
I do have one thing remaining, but you may already have this. Zachariah T. Binford married Martha T. Beard in Fulton County, KY in 1868. If you already have this forgive my intrusion, but if not, I can provide you with further details.
My husband is also a Binford descendant and therein lies my interest.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Good luck with your research.
Thanks for your help,
I found my Susan Davis in the household of Ephraim Davis in the 1860 and 1870 Fulton County census.. the Hickman mentioned in the marriage licenses was the town located in Fulton.
I am trying to locate Zack (Zachariah) Binford in the 1880 KY census. In 1870 he was listed in the 1870 Graves Co. census, but isn't there by 1880 nor in Hickman Co. By 1910 he is in Hickman Co. I believe he may have been in Fulton Co. in 1880.

Does anyone know where I might locate the obits for the year 1939? I am trying to help someone locate an obituary for a gentleman who died in that year and so far have not had much luck finding the obituary. If there is a source for them online, I would like to know where that might be. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
