Seeking information on father of Daniel Davidson, born 1809 and married to
Isabel McCollum. I have seen undocumented information that his father was
John Madison Davidson, but I don't know where to look to prove it. I sent
a DAR Application to Washington D.C. using the information from Seldon
Davidson's book. At least one other person had previously joined DAR in
using Mr. Davidson's book, but it is not accepted as proof now. I also
referenced The Strong Family in Kentucky by J.C. Hurst and it was not
either. Neither book has sources for their information. Does anyone out
have any ideas?
