JUST OUT CURIOSITY, WAS THE "O" IN THE NAME CLAYBORNE DROPPED
TO JUST CLAYBORNE?DO YOU KNOW IF THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN THE
FAMILIES SPELLING THEIR NAMES-CLAYBORNE, AND THE NAME SPELLED
THIS IS MY HUSBAND'S LINE, AND HIS GT.GT.GRANDFATHER WAS BORN
IN ALLEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AND THEN HIS PARENTS MOVED TO TENN.
I KNOW THAT THERE WAS AN "E" ON THE END OF THE LAST NAME, ORIGINALLY.
HIS GT.GT.GRANDFATHER WAS CALLED MEREDITH H. CLAIBOURN(HIS WIFE
WAS SARAH ELIZABETH MAYHEW-FROM VIRGINIA).
