I've been very busy today uploading/building/designing for the site, so have a lot to
bring you up to date on.
After a long conversation with Mrs. Schafer at the Archives, she was able to take care of
about 99% of the questions I had out of the over 400 cemeteries in the records she sent.
There are a scant few she needs to check on and get back with me concerning, so when I get
those from her, I'll update the pages again and let you all know. As a result of the
conversation, it's a more finely tuned and all the index pages for the Cemetery
Photograph and Tombstone Transcription section have been updated with the most current
information as possible. Other than what she's checking on, the only thing left still
to do is the page with the "old cemetery names". That will be done here in the
next few days.
Thanks to a friend of the Breck. Co. researchers who goes by the name of "God's
Little Angel", there are more photographs for the Godsey/Walker Cemetery as well as a
transcription for the Clark Cemetery #1. While I have it listed as the Clark Cemetery #1,
I'll have to double check it to make sure it's not one of the other Clark
Cemeteries and I misnamed it.
Besides the updating of the Godsey/Walker Cemetery's pictures and photos, there was an
addition/updating of some cemetery pages regarding transcriptions for future
Freedom Cumberland Presb. Church Cemetery.
Askins Cem. #1 and #2
Clark Cem. #1.
All those cemeteries have pages with transcription info on them, and are ready for
whenever pictures might happen to come in for them.
Hopefully you all can find a few things to help out your research with what's been
added! More items will be added tomorrow night! Happy Hunting!
