Co. in 1850 census were 3 sons & 1 grandson of
Edward DeHaven b. 1757 Montgomery City, PA d. 10 Sep 1849, Breckinridge Co.,
and his wife Rebecca Johnson b. 1765 Westmoreland Co., PA d. 14 Apr 1804,
Sarah b. 1781 m. John Sterett
Elizabeth b. 1784 m. Sam Baird
Mary b. 1787 m. Andrew Hamilton
Martha b. 1788 m. William Poole
Isaac b. 1790 m. 1st Rebecca Dean 2nd Elizabeth Dean
Rebecca b. 1792 m. Benjamin Lord
John b. 1800 m. Nancy Howard
William b. 1801 m. Mary Smith

I do have more on this family if anyone would like it.

Subject: [KYBRECKI] Macedonia Cem. and the DeHaven/DeHoven surname???
I was hoping to get a little something straightened out before I went any
further. I've been working on getting the Macedonia Bapt. Church Cemetery
typed up (all the burials up to 1998) and came across something that I
want to make sure I get it right.
I've come across several listings for the DeHaven surname since beginning
yesterday. Today, I've come across more listings, but I'm having a hard
time reading and seeing the spelling on a couple of markers. I can't tell
if it's DeHaven or DeHoven. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but with
not knowing much about the DeHaven name and variations, I wanted to post
to the list to make sure that it is a variation and not a totally separate
grouping. The 20 or so pages for the most part aren't alphabetized so I'm
not sure what to do on it.
