I'm married to a native of Breckinridge Co. My wife's ancestors lived
in Meade & Breckinridge Cos., KY -- some very near the line dividing
the two counties. My father-in-law, born in Meade Co., was a HALL,
whereas my mother-in-law, born in Breckinridge Co., was a KEYS.
My wife's GG-grandparents [most born 1795-1820] were:
Nathaniel Stiff=Elizabeth Ann Robertson [dtr. of Samuel]
Francis [Frank] Basham=Thursia Hardin [son of Obediah Basham]
Jesse M. Shaw=Catherine W. "Kittie" Ringer
J. Edward Keys=Susan Cork/Caulk
Edmund Haynes=Elizabeth Lawhorn
Charles Graham=Betsy Haynes [sis. of Dudley & Edmund Haynes]
Thos. B. Hall=Mary "Polly" Prather [dtr. of William Prather]
Wm. Perrin Hall=Rebecca "Peggy" Board [dtr. of James Board]
Wm. Perrin Hall & his brother, Thos. B. Hall, both born in Madison Co.,
KY, were sons of Stephen "Richard" HALL & Martha "Patsey" PERRIN,
residents of Breckinridge Co. in the 1800's. Many of my wife's ancestors
were either born or married in Bedford Co., VA.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Larry & Mary Nelson
