Alice,
I altered one file's extension from .shtml to .html and that file works
as it should. So it seems that the server is set up for includes but not
to accept the extension of .shtml. If you learn anything else about this
subject, please keep me posted. Otherwise, I will rename my files after
downloading the site from the new server.
