I will be honest with you Tom. I don't know if the Hickman County site
itself has been archived, or even how to do it. I am sure the schools
website has not, as there has just been so much added, and hopefully will
continue to be so. So if you can let me know HOW to do it I will be glad to
stay involved with the hickman county and schools website archives.

Subject: [KYARC] - Helping Annette
Dear Annette,
It may help to know that our administrative list mail subject lines have
the list
name in brackets first with the message subject after that. A
quick glance at the brackets will tell you which list you are addressing.
Example:
[KYGEN] means the email is from the KY state coordinator (SC) or one of
the county
coordinators (CC).
[KYARC] means the email is from the state file manager (State FM) or
one
of the county file managers (FM)
Both lists are used for administrative purposes and may request a reply
from you
when necessary. Roll call is something everyone should respond to
for record keeping needs and updating current conditions of the projects.
Coordinators and file managers need to be subscribed to these lists to be
kept informed on a regular basis.
All other mail lists are optionally your choice to subscribe. These type
are
typically used for correspondence within a county or region and its
contributors or simply folks sharing material and information about their
lineage or history.
If you choose (I really hope not) to put Hickman County Archives up for
adoption,
you will not need to stay subscribed to the administrative mail
list... [KYARC]. This is the same for [KYGEN] should you choose to resign
as a county coordinator in the project.
Please let me know if I can help you in any way with your KYARCH county.
There are
plenty of folks here to provide support and encouragement any time
you need it just for the asking. Always remember that questions are the
building blocks for knowledge and experience. So don't be shy when you need
an answer. <grin>
Best Regards,
Tom Hembrey
State FM, KYARCH

thank you Sherri... yes it does help. I am still not sure if this is a
roll call I need to be answering or not. I can't seem to keep it all
straight.
