I'll get instructions together for Smart FTP. I've got them for an older
version for KVRP, just need to update them for the latest version that's now
available. (It should also be noted that the SmartFTP versions expire after
a certain length of time - you can then download the newer version, but have
to set things up again.)
If anyone is in need of it, I've got a copy of WSFTP LE somewhere around
here. It's no longer available to download, but I'll dig it out if needed.
I know there are instructions already written and available for it (and many
folks also use it already).

Subject: [KYARC] Need support for FM
Hi Folks
We need a support string for Edie Suttle. She has adopted Menifee County
Archives and is currently the CC for KYGenWeb Menifee County. The main
concern is Edie has been doing everything the hard way and she needs our
help to simplify the routine duties.
1) HTML Editor is "Web Easy Professional" recently purchased This
application seems to be very user UN-friendly as we spoke on the phone and I
tried to help her edit the county TOC page. I have no clue and hope someone
has this software application in service now.
2) FTP software is Smart-FTP
Doesn't appear to be any difficulty here albeit the learning curve for
getting her work to the proper folders on the host server. There has to be
some shortcuts out there for sharing that will help her master this software
application. Again, it is basic familiarity with the software and how to
expediently use it for transferring files.
If anyone has these specific utilities, please contact her direct (
jsattle9(a)fuse.net ) and pitch in a few suggestions that will help Edie
become more proficient before she blows a cork or something. Also, Edie
will need a Q&A person when she gets stumped. We couldn't figure out how to
"Insert A Row" in the HTML editor because I am not familiar with her
software applications.
Thanks for any assistance.
